Dr. Simmons strives to hire the most qualified personnel in the area for his practice. Our staff is committed to providing our patients with the highest quality care possible.

  • Tina

    Tina joined our team in May 2002, and she brought with her 16 years of experience in the dental field. Shortly after graduating as a dental assistant in 1989, she returned to college to receive her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in May of 1995. Tina’s dental knowledge and experience makes her a superior Dental Hygienist who is able to aid in proper diagnosis and treatment of various dental conditions. Tina truly understands the individual needs of each patient and makes every attempt to meet those needs. She has lived in Va. Beach since 1976. She is married and now raises her son and daughter in the Princess Ann Courthouse area.
  • Debbie

    Debbie has a degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Debbie worked at Sentara as a laboratory technician for ten years and then moved to management for five more years. She also served in the Naval Reserve for fifteen years as a Hospital Corpsman. Debbie is the practice administrator. She brings much needed knowledge with general healthcare issues, management, customer service, and information technology solutions. She is also quite tech savvy and has superb photographic skills. On weekends, she can be seen walking on the beach or playing with her two Schnauzers, Jax and Maggie, or her cat, Maya. She loves cooking, quilting, making jewelry, and staining glass.
  • Danielle

    Danielle has been a part of our team since 2006. You can hear her smile as she answers the phone. Her positive attitude is contagious and is felt throughout the office. There is nothing she likes more than interacting and helping patients. She and her husband TJ reside in the Blackwater area of Va. Beach. You might catch them out with their two beloved labs or 4-wheeling in the mountains on the weekends.  It is always a sunny day with Danielle, even when she is pointing her finger at me to keep moving! Danielle can do just about anything from scheduling appointments and maximizing your insurance benefits to managing your accounts.
  • Christie

    Christie is one of our hard-working dental hygienists who has been with us since 2006. She graduated with honors from Old Dominion University. While in college, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Her professional insight adds to the depth of our practice. Christie comes from a lineage of dental hygienists. Her mom and aunt are both hygienists. All three combined bring 80 years of experience. Christie is following in the family tradition. In fact, her mom worked with Dr. Simmons for 14 years! On the weekends, you may find Christie at the beach, boating, or hunting, when she isn't chasing her two girls around.
  • Jasmin

    Jasmin is the newest addition to our practice. She brings a heart felt exuberance for her work and talents. Even though she is the youngest of the group she comes packaged with her own unique set of skills. Her skills run the gamut. She graduated from KEE Business College although her ultimate goal has always been to be a dentist. Jasmin is compassionate about dentistry and it shows in her caring interactions with patients. She loves smiles. Her goal is to see all patients achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. You will recognize her by her own contagious smile. She loves spending time with her two daughters and her fiance. They are the charm of her life. She loves the beach and especially loves deep sea fishing with her girls and Justin. She is a most welcome addition to our practice.
  • Vicky

    Vicky joined our dental team in 2011, but has been in dentistry for 30 years. She and her husband have been residents of Chesapeake for 27 years and she is the proud mother of two children and her dog, Toby! Vicky enjoys spending time with family and friends. Most summer weekends, you will find her relaxing at Lake Gaston. Vicky has the ability to work in the business as well as the clinical side of dentistry. She is one of our insurance experts.
  • Jessica

    Jessica has been a dental assistant for the past sixteen years. She is quit adept at all phases of dentistry and has a quick aptitude for learning new skills. She loves what she does and she especially enjoys making patients whether young or seasoned in life feel comfortable. Jessica is married and has two awesome children as well as their dog Haze. She grew up in Norfolk and she loves the fact that she can raise her children in the same area where she grew up. When she is not at work you can find her at the beach reading her favorite book. She loves spending time with family, friends, and traveling especially to the mountains. She is also quit skilled at the art of cuisine. However she would be first to say "don't make me bake".
